Where am I?
I can't feel anything...

Jakob's mind was racing, he couldn't see or feel anything. He was numb. Trying desperately to move, he found his limbs obnoxiously uncooperative. Suddenly, the black around Jakob began to fade, and there were the remnants of the temple, of what was left of the inhabitants of Rath, completely gone.

There stood the Destroyer, who was grinning like a maniac. He looked at Jakob with a gleam in his eyes.

You are the savior.
I am the destroyer.
We are one and the same.
When you save this world, I shall destroy it.
Along with it, you shall fade, but I will remain strong!

Jakob's eyes grew wide. What was this? It couldn't be real.

I won't let you! These people are my family! There is no way I will kill them! Jakob wished he had a more eloquent argument than "no," but this was the Destroyer's world, no matter what he said it didn't seem like it would make a difference.

We shall see when the time comes The Destroyer smirked and melted into a dark substance which quickly sank into the earth.



Jakob awoke drenched in sweat.
